The Government has appointed Mr Lucio Di Bartolomeo as the Chair of the Australia Post Board for a term of three years. Mr Di Bartolomeo brings valuable commercial, business and transformation capabilities from his extensive experience in the transport, finance, engineering and energy industries.
The Government welcomes NBN Co’s 2019-20 first quarter financial results, which show strong growth across revenue, activations and ready to connect premises. NBN Co achieved increases across all key financial and business metrics, with a total revenue of $876 million, up 41 per cent on the 2018-19 first quarter.
The Government has appointed Kate McKenzie to the Board of NBN Co Limited for a term of three years, commencing 1 December 2019. Ms McKenzie has extensive experience in telecommunications, including as the CEO of Chorus New Zealand from 2017 to 2019 and the Chief Operations Officer of Telstra from 2013 to 2016.

From 1 January 2020, Commonwealth Government agencies will start paying e-Invoices within five days or pay interest on any late payments. The five day e-Invoicing payment policy will apply to contracts valued up to $1 million, where a supplier and a Commonwealth agency both use the internationally established framework for delivering and receiving invoices in an electronic form.
